About Us

H.D.S.S is a non-profit initiative dedicated to bridging the global digital divide by repurposing unused laptops into valuable educational tools for underserved communities. Born from a vision to foster digital equity and reduce electronic waste, our organization harnesses the power of community collaboration, technical innovation, and strategic partnerships.We collect unused laptops from individuals and businesses, refurbish them in collaboration with trusted partners like SharafDG and Jumbo, and distribute them to schools and institutions in regions where students lack access to basic technological resources. With operational support from the UAE
government and generous contributions from the public, H.D.S.S provides
sustainable solutions that empower the next generation while minimizing environmental harm.

Objective, Mission & Vision

    By the end of 2026, H.D.S.S aims to refurbish and distribute 5,000 laptops to schools in Africa and other developing regions, reaching 50,000 students and reducing e-waste by 10 tonnes. We’ll achieve this through partnerships with SharafDG, Jumbo, and the UAE government, using our platform for transparency, and aligning with UNICEF SDGs 4, 12, and 17.
